Discover Alfeld – for real!

First Week

Well, it’s already a week since we’re in a camp. We got to know with each other better and even made some close friends. We are having really good time with the theaterproject and with the camp leaders. The camp even had some guests like Mr. Sharp. He talked with us and we asked some questions about Alfeld. He told us a really interesting story of Alfeld about Robber Lippold and told us that the cave where he used to live, is not far away from here. Another day Mr.Sharp called our teamer and told that he would like to show us the cave and do a biketour with us. We were really happy about it, because we wanted to go there. But we didn’t know how to get there, so Mr. Sharp will give us his company next friday.

He also invited us for a flash mob in Alfeld’s market place. The aim of the flash mob was that everybody should wear pijamas or just clothes they wear while sleeping and if more than 100 people in Alfeld would be dressed like that we would have won. So we were waiting until they counted all the people in pijamas and the number was 204. ALFELD WON! We were so happy that we could help Alfeld and take part in this competition. It was really funny. We danced so much and had a really good time.

On Saturday we decided to go to Göttingen. We woke up early so that we had much time to spend there. We went to the train station to get some tickets and FINALLY went to the city. When we got there we had some free time for ourselves to do some shopping and other things. Than we had a picnic together in a central park there. Where we meet luzie’s friend Fabian and he showed us the city. After that we went to the Alfeld back and there we were going to the concert. Some of us were really tired and couldnt go to the concert. But another half went there and had a really good time.

This was really a good week and we still have 2weeks to get more close friends and to have more good and funny days to remember in the future.

Monday…

Hi everyone

Now we’re going to tell you our awesome monday. On monday we had a great breakfast. After breakfast we had a workshop session time with our drama teacher “Nina”. She’s very funny and energic. We played some games, we act like some one another and even animals. We think some other activities which we can do.Monday was an important day because that was the first day of “Kitchen Team” they woke up early and they prepared our breakfast. They were take care of all the food job all day and that was a good experience. So after workshop session we had a free-time so some of us went to the city center to shopping or just for walking because yesterday was sunday and all shops were closed. When we finished our free-time we had a session again with Nina. We paint masks, we jumped and ride a big, fat pony 🙂 We killed each other a lot of times and woke up as “zombie”… End of the day most of us went to chill-out room. We played table tennis and stuff 🙂 So See thou soon 🙂

Sunday

Our work camp has already started on 27th of july. We are a group of teenagers playing drama and just having a good time. Our first dy was really interesting, we met each other and the leaders of the camp Ann-kathrineand luzie. But we were a bit tired because of the traveling.

The second day was sunday and we had more energy after having a good sleep. we got to know with each other better and had a great time at breakfast our awesome leaders made for us. We desided that we would have different kitchen teams every day who will cook for the whole group. after that we had a free time. The leaders also made a lunch for us and then we went to city to know the Alfeld better. Luzie and ann-kathrine showed us the city and the important places in which we were interested very much, like a bank or a post office.we also saw some cafes but it was all closed because in germany nothing is open on sundays. after this trip we went to the train station to meet there our theater leades nina. Then we went home with nina and on the way home we went to see a katholic church from inside. It was very beautifull.

when we got home we had a dinner and after that we played some games with Nina. After this we had free time so luzie and ann-kathrin had a surprizefor us: a chill-out room downstairs  where we had fun and a good time.

Hello world!

The workcamp will start on 28th of July.

See you there!
